Reunion Tower — Landmark Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What's this spot all about? The Dallas skyline is known for this glowing orb, which sits on a 561-foot-tall tower on the edge of downtown. There's an adjacent hotel, an indoor/outdoor observation deck, and two restaurants. So what's it like actually being up top at the tower? Depends on where you go: There's an awe-inspiring view from the renovated GeoDeck, or there's fine cuisine with a side of romance at Wolfgang Puck's Five Sixty restaurant, located on the tower's rotating level. And who are you likely to see here? Families flock to the observation deck, which has been kitted out with interactive displays and telescopes facing every direction. Did it meet expectations? If you're expecting views, it more than meets them. It gives you a look at the city you can't get anywhere else. If you don't mind splurging, have dinner (or at least a glass of sake) at Wolfgang Puck's Five Sixty, a 50th-floor restaurant with dramatic views from all angles." - Laura Ratliff
