"I found LaFavia Milano—a delightful B&B in a 19th-century residential block near Porta Nuova—to mix vintage and Art Deco with character gleaned from the owners’ travels (Indian rugs, a Mexican La Catrina statue, Barcelona wicker chairs) and family heirlooms; rooms have playful touches like ochre flowered wallpaper and hand-painted Sicilian tiles in the bathrooms, and I particularly liked the terrace where breakfast is served in the warmer months." - Kiki Deere
