"What the concrete plazas of Plaça del Fòrum (known as El Fòrum) lack in history, they certainly make up for in activity: Skateboarders squat past, spray painters spritz the walls, bicycle spokes whistle along the oceanfront cycle lanes and, in spring, the epic Primavera Sound pumps out festival tunes. This is an all-ages, something-for-everyone kind of park. El Fòrum is also easy to navigate: open plan with the ocean on one side, and all the big landmarks sticking out.
