Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book?I was immediately drawn to cottage #15. I really enjoyed all of the outdoor seating options which are perfect for visiting with friends. The whole place has a ranch modern feel to it that looks like it belongs in the feed of your favorite traveler's Instagram feed. And the service?Contigo Ranch is also a wedding venue and event space, so that means they've dealt with large groups making lots of demands. They can handle whatever you throw at them. What's the feeling being here?Happiness radiates from the ranch. Whether it's a blushing bride walking happily to have her picture taken or a weekender out to do some wine tasting, there is real joy from visitors. I can't prove it, but I think that feeling is even rubbing off on the Watusi cattle. Is there anything you'd change?More options for on site food . Currently there is a continental breakfast delivered to your porch each morning, but that's it. Any other hotel features worth noting?It's location gives you both privacy and convenience. You can be in downtown Fredericksburg in 20 minutes and easy get to the more than 20 wineries sprinkled around the area. If you are craving a wine weekend and want to avoid the crowds, this is an excellent option for peace and quiet nestled in a divine Texas landscape.
