"Located 15 minutes from coastal Savannah, Skidaway Island State Park is part of Georgia’s Intracoastal Waterway. The campground is situated between live oaks and under a canopy of Spanish moss, offering more than 80 campsites for tents, trailers, and RVs. There’s plenty to do at Skidaway: don’t leave without visiting the boardwalk and observation tower, and kids will enjoy the interpretive center, where they’ll find a reptile room, birding books, and a 20-foot replica of a giant ground sloth."
