Featuring glass jars in all shapes and sizes, hanging ferns, an entire feature wall designed to look like a wooden cabinet with little drawers open and closed: It's all so cool that it's hard to decide what to focus your attention on. Cool. So who’s there? This Palermo bar attracts everyone in the neighborhood, from the artsy locals who reside there to the hipster tourists staying at nearby hotels. One thing everyone has in common here is an appreciation of handcrafted cocktails. How are the drinks? As you might expect from an apothecary-themed bar, drinks are made with a lot of herbs, tinctures, and bitters; so good if you're into that kind of thing. If you're looking for a classic cocktail, say, a Negroni, you're in the wrong place. Worth ordering something to eat, too? The food menu is a bit all over the place—there's pork and shiitake dumplings, Venezuelan-style arepas, and falafel. Tasty but does it go with the cocktail menu? Not so sure about that. Did the staff do you right? Some of the friendliest bar staff you'll find in the city. You kind of want to stay here all night and maybe ask whoever is behind the bar if you can follow them on Instagram. Wrap it up: what are we coming here for?
