The interior drips with sexy retro glamour: marble, timber, artisanal furnishings, and a pink wall-length mural from Melbourne-based artist Ash Keating. There's a balanced list of classic and original drinks. Be sure to try Hot Lips, Chocolate Kiss, a cocktail made with red berry–infused gin, white-chocolate liqueur, chipotle-infused bianco vermouth, and a photogenic red lipstick “kiss” drawn into a layer of frothy egg white. The bar is a supporting act to the restaurant; with superb food like miso butterfish, kale, and furikake and foie gras donuts, you might benefit from staying for lunch or dinner.
