"Opening at 4514 Bob Wire Road in Spicewood this October, this new taproom and brewery will offer 16 taps with a mix of staples (including a coffee milk stout), newer beers like a hazy IPA, a 'Black is Beautiful' collaboration, several barrel-aged releases, and house-made root beer for kids. Moving into the nine-acre site increases annual brewing capacity tenfold and adds family-friendly amenities such as lawn games, kids’ activities, pickleball courts, live music, Hill Country views, and plans for an independently operated food truck; the space is intentionally designed to appeal to both families and adults. Founded in 2018 by brewers Kevin Jones and Chad Worner as a production-only operation with beers sold at retail locations, the team completed the buildout before the pandemic and emphasizes ample space for social distancing, though uncertainty about COVID-19 has complicated staffing and opening logistics." - Erin Russell
