"I'm reporting that the cannabis-themed (but cannabis-free) "Toasted" Subs concept Cheba Hut, a Colorado-based chain with the motto "Great tasting food. A very specific counterculture," is moving into Atlanta with plans to open three locations this fall; franchisees Josh Burdick and Justin Beatty have signed a lease for an undisclosed spot along Edgewood Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward and are eyeing properties in Midtown, Westside, Edgewood, Reynoldstown, and Summerhill. The menu features a variety of meat and vegetarian subs like the Apollo 13 (grilled chicken, garlic butter, Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and spring mix topped with Greek dressing) and the Power Plant (guacamole, hummus, feta cheese loaded with vegetables and sprouts), and also offers cocktails, a selection of salads, and classic munchies such as pretzel nuggets, Rice Krispie treats, and brownies." - Beth McKibben
