"Owner Bobby Hooper painted the space purple and black, installed a DJ booth in the back, and fashioned a cocktail menu of inventive drinks including an activated charcoal mezcal margarita; in the tradition of the prior plant-based tenant he also put vegan fare on the menu. The bar does not open until 2 p.m., and after noticing a lot of foot traffic during the day Hooper invited Chris Hudson to operate a daytime food program.
