"In Chatham, Stephanie Hart, owner of Brown Sugar Bakery, will expand her candy business, Brown Sugar Life Is Sweet, thanks to a $1.5 million grant from the Chicago Community Trust; Hart bought the Cupid Candies factory at 7637 S. Western Avenue in December 2020 and began selling sea salt caramels and chocolate turtles in January 2021.
