The Halal Rib Fest is coming to Dearborn this weekend | Eater Detroit
"Billed as North America’s largest festival focused on halal barbecue beef ribs, this event makes its U.S. debut September 29–October 1 at Fairlane Town Center. Founded in Toronto in 2023 and wrapping up a 20-city tour across Canada and the U.S., it will feature dozens of metro Detroit vendors selling ribs, other halal-friendly cuisine, and culturally relevant products. Organized by Eventzilla Group to fill a gap in halal offerings at mainstream food festivals, the gathering aims to create an inclusive experience where Muslim attendees can fully participate.
