Chef José Andrés Won’t Be Opening a Downtown LA Rooftop Restaurant After All | Eater LA
"The 11-story, Art Deco property on Spring Street was initially slated for a Curtis Stone restaurant before that project fell through; in 2022 the José Andrés Group announced plans for a rooftop restaurant there but those plans have been scrapped after UCLA acquired the building. José Andrés Group confirmed it will not pursue the planned openings within the Trust Building, and UCLA says it will initially use the 334,000-square-foot building to house programs for UCLA Extension while remaining open to future collaborations." - Cathy Chaplin
