"Reopened over the weekend after a massive makeover of the former Conor O’Neill’s, this new white-tablecloth dinner spot, Steakhouse 316 in Boulder, serves prime cuts ($36 to $110) seared in cast-iron pans and paired with Maine lobster tails topped in blue cheese bone marrow butter sauce; the menu also includes additional steak combinations, seafood towers, a table-side Caesar salad, and a Manhattan cocktail list. The space seats 120 in a dining room covered in black lacquered walls and red tufted leather, and the 13th Street building—which housed Conor O’Neill’s for 17 years and James Pub and Grill before that—dates back to the early 1900s. Anyone wishing to reminisce or people-watch should head to the bar for a separate menu featuring shrimp cocktail, steak and fries, and a stirred vodka martini. Steakhouse 316 is now open daily from 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner." - Josie Sexton
