Bar Prohibition!

Bar · Downtown

"On December 5, 2013, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino celebrated 80 years since the dark days of Prohibition by fittingly renaming our original casino bar, “Bar Prohibition!” Throughout its long history, this original Golden Gate bar had operated under many guises. These included a Wild West watering hole on the last frontier, a place for the wild women of the roaring 20s to let loose, and a whiskey-washed hangout frequented by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin during the Rat Pack era. The Golden Gate Hotel & Casino has been partying since 1906 and Bar Prohibition! continues the legacy that spans more than a century."
