"An expansion-minded casual-dining chain opened a new 8,600-square-foot location in The Grid mixed-use development on November 11, with room for 284 guests and a 72-seat bar that serves cocktails such as Whiskey Sours made with hand-squeezed lemon juice and house bitters. Like its seven other locations across Texas, Oklahoma and Florida, the restaurant emphasizes hyper-local sourcing with an on-site herb garden and partnerships with nearby farms and vendors, and the kitchen reportedly operates without a microwave or freezer. Popular menu items include the “OMG” burger, “3 Little Pigs” sliders, and goat cheese fondue, while the beverage program features a whiskey collection of more than 400 brands alongside microbrews and wines on tap. During the grand opening the restaurant pledged to donate half its sales (up to $10,000) to veteran nonprofit Team Rubicon." - Tierney Plumb
