"Chef Rupam Bhagat’s ultra-popular biryani (and more) food truck operation DUM Indian Soul Food expanded to a brick and mortar location of the same name in 2016 at 3111 24th Street in the Mission. But starting June 7, chef Bhagat is rechristening the place Ritu, the Hindi word for “seasons,” and redesigning the restaurant to differentiate it from the look and feel of the bright, playful food truck. Fortunately, his biryani is still on the menu at Ritu, along with Californian takes on Indian food like kale chaat and Tandoori fried chicken." - Caleb Pershan
