"One of Inglewood’s older Caribbean institutions, Lee’s has a weathered, lived-in look and operates primarily as takeout, but that hasn’t stopped regulars from snapping up popular items; when I stopped in the curry goat had only one order left and they graciously gave it to us. The spice-laden curry shows hearty gaminess, and it comes packed with large portions—bean-studded rice, steamed cabbage, plantains, and a dense fried dumpling—while the menu also features jerk chicken, short ribs, and escovitch fish." - Matthew Kang
