That’s because they’re waiting for their “order” to be called so they can step behind a nondescript curtain to Jekyll, the literary-inspired speakeasy hidden behind the bakery. The drink list isn’t so much a menu but a book, where excerpts from classic literary works accompany the cocktails they inspire. Many are mixed tableside by your server, who is equally well versed in literature and spirits.
