"Mattie’s Diner keeps a loyal crowd of neighborhood customers. It’s a divey, old-school, greasy Jersey brunch inside of a 1948 chrome diner car. Originally founded in 2005 and re-opened at a former tire shop location in 2022, Mattie’s Diner has a “junkyard” chili breakfast bowl and hefty stacks of blueberry pancakes but also offers a fair amount of vegan dishes.
