"On the far westside, conveyor-belt dining has finally arrived on Lake Mead Boulevard: I visited Kaizen Revolving Sushi, a 1,903-square-foot, family-friendly offshoot of Spring Mountain Road’s Konbea Belt Sushi located in the Summerlin Gateway Plaza near the under-construction Garden Grill, importing a Chinatown experience to Lake Mead Boulevard. Diners sit in booths while color-coded plates—priced from $2.45 for orange to $4.95 for black—travel past tables, and each plate carries an RFID tag to monitor how long it’s been out of the kitchen. In addition to rotating selections, made-to-order items are prepared when requested and delivered to seats on the back of a model 12-wheel truck; the menu includes appetizers like crispy soft shell crab and spicy tuna poke, soups, salads, ramen, larger baked tempura and specialty rolls, sashimi, and entrees such as broiled Chilean sea bass, salmon, spicy pork bulgogi, and fresh eel chirashi. It’s open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., extending to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday." - Bradley Martin
