The 2023 Hatch Detroit competition announces its Top Four finalists - Eater Detroit

"The Sepia Coffee Project is a micro-roastery that aims to connect Black and brown communities through coffee. Founded in 2021 by Martell Mason, it sources specialty coffee beans from under-represented regions. Mason, who studied sustainability and the coffee value chain, started the project during the pandemic and plans to expand into a full-scale roastery and cafe in Detroit." - Serena Maria Daniels
