"Planned to open before the end of the year, the Ballard taproom will be a tasting-space-only location while the brewery keeps its production facility and original taproom in Belltown. I expect outdoor seating, a permanent food truck, and an all-ages policy until 6 p.m. daily (after which the taproom will be limited to visitors 21 and over). The new spot is being built inside an ~80-year-old warehouse at 5456 Shilshole Ave and is intended to feel familiar to fans—“old and shitty” but full of soul, character, and history, much like the Belltown original." - Megan Hill
