"Set within Malibu’s Cross Creek Ranch between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific, this Austin-born seafood favorite debuts with a menu mirroring its sister locations: jumbo shrimp cocktail, steak tartare, shrimp or Dungeness crab Louie, and up to 11 oyster varieties over ice with mignonette, horseradish, and cocktail sauce, plus classics like New England clam chowder, grilled Spanish octopus, crab cakes, linguine with clams, and cioppino. A supple lobster roll comes packed with lemon aioli, lettuce, and butter, brunch brings eggs in a hole and a broccolini and caramelized onion quiche, and meat-hungry diners can go for the oak-grilled New York strip steak. Malibu-specific additions include a warm beet and Brie salad and wood-grilled oysters. The full bar leans into coastal cocktails like the Malibu Mule and seven different martinis to pair with raw oysters or the pan-roasted burger with Gruyere, with wines spotlighting small California producers alongside bottles from France and Italy. Designed to soak up canyon and ocean views, the 175-seat space features a mural by Los Angeles artist Nikolai Haas and the brand’s signature saltwater aquarium." - Mona Holmes
