"LTD is a party. Chef Keiji Tsukasaki is an incredible host, maybe because he used to be a DJ, maybe because he likes being around people. He’ll hold court with a beer in his hand as he walks you through the specialty sake he’s pouring (with a heavy hand), he’ll explain why his monkfish liver is so deep and rich and powerful (he pays for the S-tier-quality stuff), he’ll make you laugh — then you’ll realize that this is maybe the best sushi you’ve ever eaten? A seat at his counter is $170 and well worth it, or $140 for a seat at the tiny restaurant’s table, which is good if you have a larger group. Either way, getting a reservation can be a challenge." - Harry Cheadle
