"Just Dinner on Dunlavy, the charming BYOB eatery located in a Hyde Park cottage will shutter at the end of December after more than decade in business. A notice posted on the restaurant’s website announced the closure, stating that proprietor Lila Rivas will close up shop on December 31. Her open letter included a heartfelt tribute to Andrew and Lisa Rebori, the couple who originally opened the eatery and passed the torch to her when Andrew passed away in 2011. No word yet on what prompted Rivas to close the eatery altogether, although she writes that she extended the lease on the space “to its completion.” When the Houston Press reviewed the eatery in 2014, it wrote, “The dinner options at this little hideaway could stand up to anything at large, better-known restaurants such as Underbelly and Haven.” Just Dinner on Dunlavy’s last day of service is December 31." - Alaena Hostetter
