"Set next to the Strat just north of the Las Vegas Strip, this 100,000-square-foot, four-story driving range opens on Friday, March 22 and combines a high-tech 212-yard range with lounge amenities: 103 golfing bays for parties up to eight, technology to track players’ statistics, an event space, luxury suites, six bars, and food overseen by former Top of the World executive chef Robert Lomeli. From the bays I can order bites between swings like chicharron nachos with chorizo and queso blanco, chicken wings with sauce and blue cheese, a double patty burger, a trio of pulled pork sliders with pickles, Snap-O-Razzo’s hotdogs topped with cheesy street corn and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, flatbread, and crispy chicken sandwiches, while the VIP lounge offers seafood towers, caviar service and an 18-ounce rib eye with fingerling potatoes and the adults-only Cosmic Lounge serves shrimp cocktail, roasted bone marrow with chimichurri and grilled bread, grilled hamachi collar and crispy pork belly chicharron. The venue also includes a Putting District that uses projection mapping for digital putting bays, an Astrocade multi-use room enrobed in floor-to-ceiling displays for entertainment and sports viewing, and a Tap Room serving beers sourced from nearby Arts District breweries; six bars near the bays will pour signature cocktails such as the atomic margarita, lucky lemon drop and an Irish Creamsicle made with Jameson Orange, tangerine juice, lime juice and Licor 43. Atomic Golf at 1850 South Main Street will be open from noon to midnight Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. until 2 a.m. on Saturday and until 10 p.m. on Sunday." - Janna Karel
