"A new Neapolitan pizzeria due to open on 6 August at 781 Leytonstone High Street, backed by local coffee-shop owner Gianluca Colini. The kitchen is led by an ex-Pizza Pilgrims pizzaiolo (formerly head chef at the Pizza Pilgrims academy in Camden), and the tightly focused menu splits pizzas into red, green and white bases alongside a slim selection of starters and desserts. A proposed signature pie combines pistachio paste, fior di latte, buffalo mozzarella and mortadella, and pizzas are cooked in an oven that reaches 450°C. The venue will offer indoor dining, click-and-collect and delivery, with opening hours Mon–Thu 17:00–23:00 and Fri–Sun 12:00–23:30." - Adam Coghlan
