"At 1809 Reynolds Ave., the former CodFather space in North Charleston is now home to Grand Rooster Kitchen. The restaurant’s website doesn’t have much info yet, but from social media snooping it sounds like they’re at least open for lunch with a menu full of crispy porchetta, roast chicken, a summer salad, spiced Spanish and Portuguese stew, and more — Spanish and Portuguese dishes with Southern “flair.” The venture comes from chef Trae Wilson, who longtime Lowcountry diners might remember from Granville’s Cafe and Biggie’s Gastropub (the latter once occupied the address now holding The Park Cafe). I’ve reached out for additional information." - Erin Perkins
