"Set to open inside the Star (known to most Houstonians as the Texaco building) in mid-January 2021, the Nash will be a chic, laid-back American restaurant and bar featuring a floor-to-ceiling bar, an open kitchen with a pizza oven, and an outdoor patio where you can bring your dog to happy hour. Lauded chef Omar Pereney—formerly executive chef at Peska Seafood Culture and working as a culinary consultant since 2018 after resolving a non-compete dispute—developed a menu he calls a “love letter to American food,” with plates that also draw on his Venezuelan heritage.
