"Tucked privately behind a wall, the chef’s-table experience seats groups of four in the kitchen’s inner sanctum where I watched executive chef Daniel Gorman whip up whimsical, ever-changing multi-course tasting menus that celebrate Tennessee’s bounty with modern techniques. On a typical night the multi-course tasting runs about $135 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) with optional drink pairings—cocktails, wines, sherries and post-dinner drinks—for roughly an additional $85, and no two menus are ever the same. For New Year’s Eve the experience becomes even more extravagant: only eight people can experience it, with two seatings (6:00 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.), both featuring the same 14-course tasting with beverage pairings priced at $500 per person, with Johnny Walker Blue flowing freely, White Alba truffles, and table-side magic." - Delia Jo Ramsey
