"Launched by Andrew Wong (Eater London’s Chef of the Year 2017) in partnership with Deliveroo Editions and the White Rabbit Fund, this delivery-only concept channels the spirit of Soho’s Chinatown while aiming to bring Chinese food back to East London, the area of London’s first Chinese settlers. The tightly focused menu — just four starters and four mains — riffs on takeaway favourites such as sweet-and-sour glazed ribs, black bean chicken and Cantonese-style crispy pork belly; a crispy aromatic duck is served with cucumber and plum sauce but swapped into bao-style steamed buns rather than pancakes. Operating from a Deliveroo Editions kitchen in Whitechapel under the Hutch operating company, the concept is designed to capture the chef’s approach without undermining his premium restaurant offerings and is intended for roll-out to further Editions sites." - Andrew Leitch
