"I visited Colorado Donuts near my home in northeast LA to pick up some Sesame Street treats for my nephew’s birthday. He’s a generous two-year-old, so he handed over a glazed doughnut covered in red frosting and topped with Oreos and a doughnut hole. I am still trying to figure out what Elmo’s eyes were made of, but plenty of sugar is certain.
