"This Rosedale community coffee pays homage to co-owner Charity Dean’s great-grandmother, Rosa Malone, among the first Black individuals to move to the area in the 1970s. The pastel pink and green decor is complemented with coffee beans sourced from Fast Haus Coffee Roasting Co. and a small variety of pastries and sandwiches. The space is also frequently used to host community meetings. Prior to opening in 2022, Dean and co-owner Heather Zygmontowicz embarked on a resident engagement process to determine the needs of the surrounding area." - Serena Maria Daniels
