"Reopened in September two years after an electrical fire with a slightly new name and a redesigned interior and menu, the revamp has been a success. Inspired by owner Pepe Barajas’s research trip to Oaxaca, the food highlights enchiladas de pollo rostizado con mole coloradito and suadero tacos; the restaurant also now holds a liquor license. The decor more closely resembles Barajas’s other restaurant, La Josie in the West Loop, and while prices are higher than before, I thought it was worth it." - Naomi Waxman
