"Because of the weather, I noted the Austin Food & Wine Alliance canceled its Live Fire event scheduled for April 6, calling the decision 'heart-wrenching' and saying there are no plans to reschedule; the nonprofit is asking would-be attendees to donate ticket prices to help students attend its Culinary Arts Career Conference, support its culinary grant program, change the ticket to its Wine & Wine food event in November, postpone the ticket to next year, or request a refund via an online form (deadline Friday, April 14, with refunds by Tuesday, April 18)." - Nadia Chaudhury
