"An old-school pizzeria in the University District that was bought and restored by local chain Big Mario’s in 2023; the former owner Jason Lajeunesse had been looking to sell last year but the spot remains owned by Big Mario’s. The space has the oven capacity to let the Pop Pop residency produce many more pizzas, and Lajeunesse’s events company Daydream State is partnering with the pop-up and Big Mario’s on the three-month “Pizza Lab.”" - Harry Cheadle
