"After working in other’s kitchens, like the Marketplace in Asheville, chef-owner Scott Alderson moved back to the plateau to open Native Prime Provisions. There’s only 10 seats at the chef’s counter, and they are hard to come by, because locals know this is the place for fine-dining-level seafood dishes, super fresh nigiri, and high-end ingredients — where else are you going to find, caviar, dry-aged beef, and uni in the middle of the mountains?
