"An East Village Caribbean restaurant that has added a new culinary director for the first time since opening in 2014: Brittney “Stikxz” Williams, who had been a private chef from Queens and worked at restaurants including Jungsik and Eleven Madison Park. Her new menu includes dishes like pork chops rubbed in Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, Haitian djon djon mushroom risotto, salmon with Scotch bonnet pepper buerre blanc, and ackee cheesecake; she’s also updating classics such as jerk chicken and oxtail stew and is sourcing Jamaican ingredients such as callaloo from her family farm in Queens.
