"Within this brick-walled bao and noodle shop tucked away off Eugene’s park blocks, families and college kids sit down to piles of plump, handmade sheng jian bao stuffed with fillings like pork and shrimp or curried beef. Any of the shop’s dumplings or bao are winners, but Bao Bao’s beef noodle soup is an underrated star, with a pristine broth and chewy handmade noodles. Finish with a round of sweet, fluffy red bean bao, and maybe take some frozen dumplings home for later.
