"Shah’s Halal is opening in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood, adjacent to Berklee College of Music, on February 7, at 1124 Boylston St. Shah’s Halal started as a food cart in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York, in 2005, and expanded into restaurants since 2016, now having over a dozen locations in the U.S. and one in London. Each outlet is certified halal by the Halal Food Council U.S.A. The menu includes gyros, rice dishes with chicken, falafel, kofta, fish, lamb, hummus, and Philly cheesesteaks, based on family recipes. The expansion aims to bring authentic flavors and fresh ingredients to Boston, as well as competitive pricing." - Terrence Doyle
