"On Spring Mountain Road I noticed a blue bear mascot welcoming customers at the door of the newly debuted Bbear Cafe, which has taken over the former Volcano Cafe and is located between Lee’s Korean BBQ and the Greenland Supermarket in the Korean Town Plaza. It's open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and offers a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, mocha, caramel and chocolate “bearccinos,” plus shakes, slushes, and boba teas. Taiyaki — the red bean and Nutella fish-shaped desserts that were already popular at the Volcano Cafe — are now used as cones for ice cream fillings; for $5.95 you can choose vanilla, taro, or soft serve and add toppings like Pocky, rainbow sprinkles, and gummy bears. Shakes are available in flavors such as avocado, honeydew, and matcha." - Bradley Martin
