"A Texas-born Brazilian steakhouse concept that launched in 2014 and now operates a small portfolio of locations is expanding to a prime Strip spot at the Fashion Show mall, occupying the shuttered 8,787-square-foot former Kona Grill space; an imposing plywood facade confirms it’s coming, though no opening date has been announced. Early permits allocate roughly $600,000 to rebuild a roomy interior designed for bandana-wearing servers who slice 17 different cuts of meat tableside and guide guests to a 40-item oversized salad bar. Previous locations offer all-you-can-eat lunch and daily dinner service with cuts such as top sirloin, filet mignon, picanha and grilled salmon, complemented by sides like garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized bananas, and rice and black beans, and desserts including crème brûlée, Brazilian flan, and molten chocolate cake. The new outpost will sit at the mall’s northern entrance facing Wynn and Encore and will directly compete with a neighboring Benihana." - Bradley Martin
