"The historic German restaurant and cake bakery Papa Haydn will have a Mother’s Day dessert box for sale, with a pistachio-rhubarb cake, chocolate-caramel cake, lemon curd tart, and a sugar cookie, all for $35. It’s also offering a few other specials on nine-inch cakes. Additionally, though the restaurant won’t be hosting its usual Mother’s Day brunch, it will have some lunch and dinner specials for the holiday. The Sellwood location will have patio seating open, and the Northwest location will have some outdoor seating available, weather permitting. Dessert specials can be ordered online." - Alex Frane
