"An Eater tip from Paloma Park general manager Hank Sewell helped us land this restaurant on the list. “Almost anybody traveling to Athens for gameday has heard of us because it’s where their friends are already drinking on the beer garden or waiting to pick up our tacos, wings, and nachos,” says Sewell. Paloma Park has a large outdoor patio with a big screen, perfect for watching the game al fresco. The Tex-Mex joint has plenty of shareable foods — try the taco “fold”, which is essentially a meaty wrap with lettuce, pico de gallo, and elote corn — and happy hour drink specials.
