"A soon-to-open hotel on Galveston's Seawall Boulevard slated to debut in summer 2023; the planned food-and-beverage collaboration with Houston restaurateurs Justin Yu and Bobby Heugel was mutually ended, and the hotel publicly thanked them for their creativity and dedication. The property will move forward without those collaborators, executive chef Leila Ortiz will remain in her hotel role, and additional details about the hotel and its signature dining venue will be announced later." - Megha McSwain
