Cocktail Lounge Burle’s Bar Opens Upstairs at Plant Shop the Victorian at New City’s Fourth Ward Development on the Beltline | Eater Atlanta

"I went upstairs to the second level where Burle’s Bar overlooks the plant shop below; named for Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, it channels a 1960s cocktail lounge vibe and intentionally references the tropical plant species Marx discovered (which are also sold at the Victorian). The bar offers cocktails, non-alcoholic mixed drinks, beer, and natural and small-production wines, plans to serve bar bites and snacks from a rotating group of Atlanta chefs, and provides nine seats at the bar plus about 35 lounge seats with additional patio seating. Burle’s Bar held a joint grand opening with the Victorian on September 16 and is open Wednesday–Friday 3 p.m.–12 a.m. and Saturday–Sunday 12 p.m.–12 a.m." - Beth McKibben
