"Opening in Lake Highlands as the owners' latest project, this cozy 3,000-square-foot Irish pub was created by gutting and reconstructing a long-vacant veterinary clinic and features custom carpentry, pub tables and a dog-friendly patio. Run by Cheryl and Peter Kenny, the menu blends a weekend brunch program (10 a.m.–3 p.m.) — with smoked salmon potato cakes, a hangover sandwich, Eggs Norwegian, “Pick Me Up” cocktails and alcohol-free options — with classic pub fare like steamed mussels, flatbreads, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, salads, burgers and sandwiches. The owners have also promised to revive many beloved brunch and dinner dishes from their previous bars, and the spot maintains extended hours throughout the week and weekend." - Tierney Plumb
