Leftie Lee’s Sandwiches, Pop-Up Incubator, and Wonderfull World Coffee and Tea Are Opening at Olive and Pine in Avondale Estates | Eater Atlanta

"Redevelopment of a 60-year-old industrial warehouse complex into what will become Olive and Pine is expected to open this fall in Avondale Estates; I note it's located on Olive Street just east of East College Avenue. It's a joint venture between Tin Drum Asian Kitchen founder Steven Chan, Decatur-based Office of Design architecture firm, and Metro Green Construction. I expect the development to house a soft-serve ice cream parlor and mini-mart operated by a collective of Atlanta restaurant industry workers, a pop-up restaurant incubator and kitchen/event space for growing local chefs, a sandwich shop, an all-day coffee and boba tea house, and future additions including a food hall, cocktail bar, and burger restaurant. In anticipation of the restaurant openings, the owners are hosting a pop-up brunch on Sunday, July 24, in the parking lot adjacent to the Avondale Estates Farmers Market." - Beth McKibben
