"Announced to be closing on September 8, this South Loop craft-beer pub at 730 S. Clark Street had operated for three years after reinventing itself from a burger joint (following a 2012 closure) into more of a gastropub, expanding the menu to ride the craft-beer wave and offer greater brew diversity. Despite positive reviews from critics, the location struggled to draw consistent local business; opening chef Dennis Stover departed in 2016 expressing doubts that the more upscale direction would please locals, and co-owner Marco Silvo later said they would try to make the menu more accessible. The owners thanked customers and urged patrons to come by for a burger and a beer; at the time of the announcement fans had roughly 12 days left to visit in its current form, and there was tentative hope for another reinvention in the future." - Ashok Selvam
